I’ve Never Seen Goonies

Allow me to elaborate. I’ve never seen all of Goonies.
Over the years, I’ve heard the conversations about this classic flick. The truth is, I started watching it many times. I’ve just never made it to the end.
That’s about to change as this week I plan to finally sit through the entire film. I’m a huge fan of movies like that and it’s disapointing that I haven’t conquered it yet. What brought on this sudden urge to see it? The other day I was talking about this blog with some friends. They were talking about their personal Rainy Sunday list. The conversation went something like this:
“Goonies has to be there.”
“I’ve never seen it the whole way through.”
“WHAT! How have YOU never seen Goonies? It’s Goonies. You’ve never seen Goonies?”
I get that reaction often when I haven’t seen something.
In this case it’s an easy fix as I’ve owned the DVD for years… (I suppose there really is no excuse for my actions. I’m on it.)
