What!? Michael Bay Reboots Ninja Turtles?

I don’t really cover movie news on this blog. I’ve never wanted it to be a source for news that even I would get somewhere else.
However, I do comment on certain topics from time to time and easily the most popular on this site is Ninja Turtles related news.
A few weeks ago, this image surfaced and everyone started wondering whether this would be the new look TMNT.
Now today, Joblo is reporting that Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes is firing up a reboot of the story. So obviously the previous live action reboot is now dead. If that’s true than what the hell is that image above?
Personally, I’m just happy a new live action TMNT film is in the works. I’m all over it.
